Statement on COVID-19
The Association has implemented a "No Visitors" policy at 870 Pembina Hwy. All committee and task group meetings will be held remotely until further notice. Please contact the chair of your committee or task group directly for more information. Staff remain available via email and telephone. For general questions, please contact us via email at info@EngGeoMB.ca or call (204)-474-2736. All upcoming member-facing events and activities are cancelled or postponed. Looking Back Through Our Century: March 2007
It was an exciting day in March 2007 when crews hit the mother lode at the Lalor site. The Lalor crew had intersected zinc - an immense amount of zinc that generated interest at the highest levels of Hudbay. Ingenium Call for Abstracts
Plans are underway for our annual Ingenium conference with our Professional Development Seminars taking place on October 14 and 15, 2020. The Association welcomes abstracts for presentations and workshops on any topic related to engineering and geoscience and the professionals which practice in those fields. Faculty of Engineering Named in Honour of Monumental Donation by Dr. Gerry Price and Family
As of last week, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba now bears a new name, thanks to a transformative $20 million investment from visionary philanthropists Gerry and Barb Price. To learn more, read the full news story.

Join the Winnipeg Construction Association for a free, live online seminar to help managers and supervisors understand, support and provide options for themselves and employees who are dealing with high stress and anxiety. Centennial Recognition Gala - Postponed to September 12, 2020
Due to current events, our Centennial Recognition Gala has been postponed. With this additional time, our Early Bird rates have been extended until June 28. We are looking forward to hosting you in September for this once in a lifetime, all-inclusive event to celebrate the history of engineering regulation in our province over the last 100 years.
