Looking Back Through Our Century: December 2009
After four years of construction and at a cost of about $300 million, the Winnipeg Water Treatment Plant began sending treated water to the city on December 9, 2009. Located at the Deacon Reservoir, the plant is a modern facility designed for performance, safety, and environmental sustainability. Volunteer Opportunities
The Ironman Outdoor Curling Bonspiel, presented by Cambrian Excavators Ltd., is a not for profit event raising money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, scheduled to take place February 5 to 7, 2021 on the river at The Forks.
