Equity in Professional Regulation: Consultation Sessions
Engineering and geoscience professionals uphold standards and serve in the
interest of a diverse public. Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will be
building a plan for Equity in Professional Regulation, and are now seeking
members who identify as one or more of the following identities to join
an upcoming virtual 1.5hr consultation session: Woman, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+
and Non-Binary, Internationally Trained, Person with Disability, Person of Colour.

The Sixth Annual MLA Reception
On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba hosted its sixth
annual MLA Reception in Winnipeg. This event provided an excellent opportunity
for numerous insightful dialogues about the engineering and geoscientific professions.

Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Family Legacy Bursary Draw
EngGeoMB is now accepting applications for the 2023 Family Legacy Bursary Draw.
Five bursary prizes are given to the children of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members.
Applicants must be enrolled full time in first-year engineering or geoscience studies.
The application deadline is September 1, 2023. For eligibility criteria and how to apply,

June 8, 2023
Council invites professional members, interns, students, and any resident of the
province of Manitoba to come and observe the June Council meeting. To register,

Secretary of your intention to attend the meeting.

STEAM: Possibilities in Life and Work -
June 20, 2023 In honour
of Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Association is hosting Dr. Amy Farrell,
Assistant Professor of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at the University of
Manitoba Faculty of Education for a discussion of various Indigenous cultural
STEAM knowledges and designs for applications and insights into everyday life
