The Appeal Committee fulfills one of the core functions of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, as mandated by the Act and by-laws. Appeal Committee members determine, as a panel, whether to uphold, modify, or overturn decisions made by the Registration Committee, Registrar, or Investigation Committee, by hearing appeals made by applicants regarding registration decisions, and complainants regarding decisions made by the Investigation Committee. The Association is looking for professional members (P.Eng. and P.Geo.) who have ten or more years of professional practice experience, have knowledge of the Act and by-laws, and some knowledge of the judicial process to join the committee. Please review the call for volunteers for full details.

We are seeking professional members who are working in a supervisory capacity and are receiving remuneration on a full-time or regular basis (greater than 300 hours per calendar year) in all engineering and geoscience disciplines, but with a specific need in the following engineering disciplines: Biomedical (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Industrial, and Chemical.
