Social Hour - Bingo Bowling -
March 14, 2024 The Sports and
Social Committee is pleased to announce the next EngGeoMB Social Hour, an
in-person event for registrants of the Association to meet one another in a
casual setting. This event in March will feature an evening of Bingo Bowling at
Uptown Alley, including pizza, popcorn, and soft drinks, and is open to all
registrants of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. For more information and to

Problem
Solving Anti-Harassment Practices and Policies for Remote Site Work -
March 18, 2024 Following important discussions to stop workplace
harassment on multi-party sites, participants have requested further
discussions around best practices to prevent harassment and increase safety for
remote site work. Join the Manitoba 2030 Coalition and lawyers Jennifer Sokal
and Allie Moar for a solutions-oriented discussion of actual remote work
scenarios, the challenges, possible solutions, and the legal liability for

- 2024 Spaghetti Bridge Competition -
March 18 - 21, 2024 As
part of Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW) our annual Spaghetti
Bridge Competition, in support of Winnipeg Harvest, returns from Monday, March
18, to Thursday, March 21, 2024. Students in K - Grade 12 compete to build
the strongest truss using just pasta and white or wood glue, then watch as
we test it to destruction! The builder(s) of the strongest truss in each
class wins a prize and a donation will be made to Harvest Manitoba based on
the cumulative load that all of the trusses hold. In 2023, the Association
donated $18,661.50! Entry into the 2024 Spaghetti Bridge Competition is
free, but pre-registration is required. For more information on the
