EngGeoMB Celebrates National Engineering and Geoscience Month
EngGeoMB is excited to participate in National Engineering and Geoscience Month (NEGM) this March 2025!
To celebrate, the Association joins other provincial regulators
across the country in hosting activities for both members and the public in order to
highlight everything excellent in engineering and geoscience.
In Manitoba, EngGeoMB hosts events during Provincial
Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW),
Sunday, March 23 - Saturday, March 29, 2025.

PEGW Volunteers -
Multiple Volunteers Needed
Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW) is held to promote engineering and geoscience as career choices and
celebrate engineering and geoscience within our province. This year, in-person PEGW events take place
Sunday March 23, 2025, to
Thursday March 27, 2025, with events such as
Children's Activities
and the
Spaghetti Bridge Competition.
To make these events successful, we require multiple volunteers.

Member Engagement Sessions: Future By-law Changes -
Tuesday, March 11, 2025 and

Council invites all members to participate in open online engagement sessions discussing potential by-law changes for 2025.
This engagement session will go over the By-law Change Process and potential changes will be presented for discussion and feedback.

Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW): Children's Activities -

Join us at Kildonan Place to mark the start of 2025 Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW)
with fun activities to engage the next generation of engineers and geoscientists!
Children's activities running on Sunday afternoon provide kids of all ages a chance to have some fun.
From building structures out of gumdrops to digging for cool rocks and building a working circuit,
there's something for everyone!

Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW): Spaghetti Bridge Competition -

Our annual Spaghetti Bridge Competition, in support of Harvest Manitoba, returns with
in-person and virtual options for pre-registered school groups.
K-Grade 12 students compete to build the strongest bridge using just pasta and
white or wood glue, then watch as we test it to destruction!

The Iron Ring at 100: A New Era for the Calling of an Engineer -
