From Then to Now: A Timeline of Engineering and Geoscience in Manitoba
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba was established on March 27, 1920, by The Engineering Profession Act to regulate the profession of engineering in the province, and in 1998, the Manitoba Legislature expanded the Association's mandate to regulate professional geoscientists with The Engineering and Geoscientific Professions Act, but even before then, the engineering and geoscience professions have long been practiced within the prairie province. Certificate of Authorization (CofA) Renewals - Now Open
Certificate of Authorizations are currently renewing for the period of Thursday, May 1, 2025, to Thursday, April 30, 2026. Renewal notices have been mailed out to the listed authorized designates. All companies who hold a Certificate of Authorization must submit their renewal payment by April 30, 2025. If the company is no longer providing engineering and/or geoscience services within the province of Manitoba, please complete and return the cancellation form. Renewal payments can be made online by credit card, submitting a cheque by mail, or by contacting the Association office by phone at (204) 474-2736.

2025 Volume No. 1 of The Keystone Professional Now Available
The 2025 Keystone Professional - Vol. 1 is now available to view online. Practitioners who have opted to receive a physical copy will receive them in the mail shortly.

Volunteer Opportunities
PEGW Volunteers - Sunday, March 23 - Thursday, March 27, 2025
Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW) is held to promote engineering and geoscience as career choices and celebrate engineering and geoscience within our province. Volunteers are still needed for all days, but there is a specific need for more volunteers for the Children's Activities on Sunday March 23, 2025 at Kildonan Place Mall. Council invites all members to participate in open online engagement sessions discussing potential by-law changes for 2025. This engagement session will go over the By-law Change Process and potential changes will be presented for discussion and feedback. Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW): Children's Activities - Sunday, March 23, 2025
Join us at Kildonan Place to mark the start of 2025 Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW) with fun activities to engage the next generation of engineers and geoscientists! Children's activities running on Sunday afternoon provide kids of all ages a chance to have some fun.
