Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW): Spaghetti Bridge Competition - Monday, March 24 - Thursday, March 27, 2025
Our annual Spaghetti Bridge Competition, in support of Harvest Manitoba, returns with in-person and virtual options for pre-registered school groups. K-Grade 12 students compete to build the strongest truss using just pasta and white or wood glue, then watch as we test it to destruction! Registration Committee - Committee Member
The Registration Committee is a committee of Council, responsible for conducting the final review of applicants and interns moving forward towards final registration. The committee is currently looking for a professional engineer, specifically in the area of electrical engineering to participate in monthly meetings to discuss assigned files, issues, and policy development. Application deadline for this opportunity is Friday, March 28, 2025. For full details please see the call for volunteers.

Registration Committee - Layperson Member
The Registration Committee is a committee of Council, responsible for conducting the final review of applicants and interns moving forward towards final registration. The committee is currently looking for a layperson member to join the committee for a two-year term, who has good analytical and critical thinking skills, can work effectively as a team towards consensus, understands the Association's mandate to serve and protect public interest. This position is for members of the public, applicants cannot not be registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba. For full details please see the call for volunteers.

Join us at Kildonan Place to mark the start of 2025 Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week (PEGW) with fun activities to engage the next generation of engineers and geoscientists! Children's activities running on Sunday afternoon provide kids of all ages a chance to have some fun.
