2026 EngGeoMB Awards: Submit Your Nominations Today!
This is your opportunity to recognize and celebrate outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions in their fields of engineering and geoscience at the 2026 EngGeoMB Awards. Whether it's through innovation, leadership, or community impact, your nominations help shine a spotlight on those who inspire and elevate others in Manitoba. Submit your nominations no later than Friday, February 27, 2026; the Student Achievement Award nomination deadline is Friday, May 8, 2026. National Engineering and Geoscience Month Lunch & Learn Sessions

2026 Volume No. 1 of The Keystone Professional Now Available
The Keystone Professional is Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba's official quarterly publication. The current issue is now available to view online.

2026 Spaghetti Bridge Competition
As part of Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Month and Provincial Engineering and Geoscience Week, our annual Spaghetti Bridge Competition, in support of Harvest Manitoba, will return! Students in K - Grade 12 compete to build the strongest truss using just pasta and white or wood glue, then watch as we test it to destruction! The builder(s) of the strongest truss in each class wins a prize and a donation will be made to Harvest Manitoba based on the cumulative load that all of the trusses hold.
Entry into the 2026 Spaghetti Bridge Competition is free, but pre-registration is required by the Friday, February 27, 2026 deadline. For more information on the competition, the prizes, and how to register, please see the Spaghetti Bridge webpage.

Geologize Communications Courses: Free Access for EngGeoMB Members, Licensees, and Interns
Geoscientists Canada has renewed and expanded its collaboration with Geologize for another two years (2026-2028), continuing to provide free access for all licensed and registered members to Geologize's critically acclaimed online training - Practical Geocommunication. Also included is a brand-new Mining Communication course, with a mining focus but designed to help geoscientists in all disciplines develop stronger, clearer, and more impactful messages about the profession's role in modern society.
