On August 23, 1920, the Provisional Secretary was empowered to obtain and open a register for the registration of members. The first membership application was received on September 1, 1920, from Gilbert Beebe McColl, a graduate of the University of Manitoba, who worked as a Dominion Land Surveyor and Civil Engineer until retirement in 1947. The Experience Review Committee (ERC) is responsible for verifying the progress of engineering interns and geoscience interns, by reviewing progress reports which have been completed by both themselves and their supervisors and provide feedback on their experiences and professional development. The ERC is looking for a professional engineer in good standing with expertise in Civil - Water Resources/Hydrology, who can commit to reviewing files and meetings regularly.
