Dealing with Micro-aggression and Conflict in the Workplace - October 1, 2022
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba invites members to join this exclusive three-hour training session on dealing with micro-aggression and conflict in the workplace, presented by certified mediators Delia Joseph and Karen Ridd. This virtual session will take place on Zoom. This training isn't just about black and white issues: it's about acts (intentional and, more often than not, unintentional) that limit the ability of people from any marginalized group to flourish. When that happens they, and we all, occupy a world that is less than it could be. This is about helping people understand actions that are happening on a daily basis. Attendees will be given time during this training to really step back and reflect in the moment, an opportunity for people to go deeper and not simply "check off a box". For more information and to register for the training session, please see the event listing.
