Certificate of Authorization Renewals
Certificate of Authorizations are currently renewing for the period of May 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. All companies who hold a Certificate of Authorization and are still providing engineering and/or geoscience services within the province of Manitoba, are required to hold a Certificate of Authorization and need to renew. Renewal payments can be completed online or by submitting a cheque by mail to the Association office. If the Certificate of Authorization holder is no longer providing services within the province and is not planning on renewing, are required to submit a completed cancellation form. If you have any questions about your Certificate of Authorization, please email Certificate of Authorization Coordinator.

Engineers of Tomorrow's Engineer-in-Residence Information Session
Join representatives from Engineers of Tomorrow on April 26, 2023, to learn more about the Engineer-in-Residence (EIR) program now operating in Manitoba. This free program links school teachers with engineering volunteers who provide regular in-class or virtual activities to support the curriculum and engage students with the world of engineering. Join fellow educators and engineers to learn more about what others are doing in their classrooms. Ask questions, gather ideas and more! Engineers Canada Launches Campaign to Inspire People to Think about Engineers in New Ways
Engineers Canada has launched a new campaign that calls on Canadians to think differently about the value of engineers. Conceived in collaboration with Canada's provincial and territorial regulating bodies and Engineers Canada, the "Building Tomorrows" campaign challenges Canadians to expand their perceptions of engineers - not just as builders of bridges and buildings - but as builders of solutions that make our world a better place. Online Survey on Canada's Immigration Future
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has extend an invitation to a new engagement initiative that has recently been launched - An immigration system for Canada's future - aimed at exploring how immigration policies and programs can support a shared vision for Canada's future. IRCC has been talking to people across the country to collaborate on a vision of the future of Canada's immigration system. As part of these efforts, they have recently launched an survey in hopes that this will provide an opportunity to share ideas and advice for the future of immigration in Canada. Indigenous Knowledge and Perspectives on Climate Change Adaptation - May 8, 2023 - June 2, 2023
Equitable and just climate action demands the integration of Indigenous perspectives in climate adaptation and mitigation. This four-week online course, offered by Royal Roads University, has been designed by Indigenous knowledge holders, Indigenous and non-Indigenous subject matter experts, and instructional designers. Climate Action for Business: Training & Experience Sharing Forums
The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce 2023 Climate Action Forum Series is designed to help build awareness and capacity and share experiences among Manitoba's small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) for enhancing resilience to climate change and achieving carbon reductions through their home game (operations and facilities), and away game (products and services offered).
