Ingenium 2024: Save the Date!
From your home, your office, or wherever in the world you may be, join your fellow Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba practitioners for the virtual 2024 Ingenium Conference from Tuesday, November 19 - Thursday, November 21, 2024! Gain valuable professional development hours and get involved with the Association. During the Professional Development Seminars, live virtual keynotes and interactive breakout sessions will explore current topics combined with the convenience of on-demand options for the ultimate in value and flexibility. New opportunities are being planned for in-person networking and watch parties. Keep your eye on the Ingenium website for upcoming information and conference updates.

Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Family Legacy Bursary Draw
EngGeoMB is now accepting applications for the 2024 Family Legacy Bursary Draw. Five bursary prizes are given to the children of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members. Applicants must be enrolled full time in first-year engineering or geoscience studies. The application deadline is Sunday, September 1, 2024. New EngGeoMB Director of Professional Standards
The Association is proud to welcome Nyerhovwo Leslie Ekrebe, P.Eng., as the new Director of Professional Standards. The Director of Professional Standards is responsible for ensuring that the Association is meeting its role in ensuring members and licensees are practicing competently. We look forward to the positive impact Nyerhovwo Leslie will bring to EngGeoMB and our membership.

Volunteer Opportunities
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee - Multiple Positions
The EDI committee purpose is to advise, assist, support, and advocate to meet EngGeoMB End-5: Practitioners reflect the diversity of the public. The committee acts as an advisory body to identify and advise on solutions to opportunities and challenges in the change management and implementation of regulatory EDI leading practices, including the recommended actions of the 2024 Equity in Professional Regulation Action Plan. This committee strives to have a membership that reflects the demographics of the population of Manitoba and is looking for multiple professionals to join the committee.
