adopted updated guides for competency-based assessment (CBA) to align with the
CBA reporting system used by the Association and other Canadian regulators. In
addition, two new guides
- Canadian Environment Experience Competencies for
Engineering and
Canadian Work-Environment Experience Competencies for
Geoscience are now
available. Applicants, interns,
validators, and assessors are encouraged to review the updated and new guides.
Competency-Based Assessors -
Multiple Positions
EngGeoMB is seeking additional assessors to conduct a final review of an applicant's
Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) report by providing their own ratings for each
of the competencies and making a recommendation on the applicant's readiness for
professional registration. We are seeking professional members who are working in a
supervisory capacity and are receiving remuneration on a full-time or regular basis
(greater than 300 hours per calendar year) in
all engineering disciplines,
but with a specific need in the following disciplines:
Water Resources with experience in water treatment plants, Oil & Gas, Mechanical, and Industrial.
We are seeking additional professional geoscientists in
all disciplines.
Please review the
call for volunteers for full details.
