Ingenium Professional Development Conference - Starting Next Week! - Tuesday, November 19 - Thursday, November 21, 2024
From your home, your office, or wherever in the world you may be, join your fellow Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba practitioners for the virtual 2024 Ingenium Conference! Gain valuable professional development hours and get involved with the Association without having to leave your desk. During the Professional Development Seminars, live virtual keynotes and interactive sessions will explore current topics combined with the convenience of on-demand options for the ultimate in value and flexibility.

New for 2024: Join us at an In-Person Networking event on Thursday, November 21, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to meet with other attendees and speakers to discuss topics and ideas covered through the live sessions. Events taking place in both Winnipeg and Brandon, Manitoba.

Join the Circular Mentorship Program
The Circular Mentorship Program is a year-long program that unites practitioners in engineering and geoscience professions and build trusting relationships among less experienced and more-experienced members together, to offer guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character. Registration opens on November 15, 2024, and ends on December, 15, 2024. For more information, please see the Circular Mentorship Program webpage.

Volunteer Opportunities
Competency-Based Assessors - Multiple Positions
EngGeoMB is seeking additional assessors to conduct a final review of an applicant's Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) report by providing their own ratings for each of the competencies and making a recommendation on the applicant's readiness for professional registration. We are seeking professional members who are working in a supervisory capacity and are receiving remuneration on a full-time or regular basis (greater than 300 hours per calendar year) in all engineering disciplines, but with a specific need in the following disciplines: Water Resources with experience in water treatment plants, Oil & Gas, Mechanical, and Industrial. We are seeking additional professional geoscientists in all disciplines. Please review the call for volunteers for full details.
