CofA Insurance Policy Engagement
Earlier this year, Council established a
task group to review the policy on insurance requirements for holders of
Certificates of Authorization (CofA). This task group was struck since it was
recognized that this policy had not been reviewed for 20 years and there has
been information received that components of the policy were possibly out of
date. Based on those discussions, as well as input from the insurance industry
and legal counsel, a new draft insurance policy has been established. Council is
seeking input regarding the proposed insurance changes by noon,
Thursday,
December 5, 2024. For more information on the proposed insurance changes,
