2025 Council Applications - Nominating Period Closes Tomorrow
The Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for individuals interested in serving on Council. This is an opportunity to play an active role in guiding the direction of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba and contributing to its governance. Those who are interested are asked to complete the Council Application Form and submit it, along with their curriculum vitae (CV) to the attention of the Nominating Committee c/o the Association at Info@EngGeoMB.ca. Application forms and CVs can also be mailed or dropped off at the Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba office (870 Pembina Hwy). Deadline is 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025. 2025 Student Achievement Award - Nominating Period Closes Tomorrow
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba is seeking nominations for the 2025 Student Achievement Award, which is intended to recognize an undergraduate engineering or geoscience student or group of students who have shown excellence in, and/or major contributions to, the concept/design of a groundbreaking engineering or geoscience project/thesis. Call for Abstracts: 2025 Ingenium Professional Development Seminars
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will host its annual conference, Ingenium, in a virtual format in November 2025. The Association welcomes abstracts for presentations on any topic related to engineering and geoscience and the professionals which practise in those fields, for consideration for inclusion in the Ingenium Professional Development Seminars. Participate in the 2024 Salary Survey Today
The 2024 Salary Survey is open for eligible practitioners to complete via a link in their online profile. Complete this short survey before Monday, May 12, 2025, and be entered for a chance to win one of five $100 gift cards of your choice! This information assists Association practitioners in understanding their compensation with respect to the local marketplace and enables comparisons with data from other practitioners. An Overview of Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) - Wednesday, May 21, 2025
The Admissions Department is offering an overview of competency-based assessment (CBA) - the online system used to evaluate engineering and geoscience work experience and competencies to determine readiness for professional registration and licensure. This online session will be of interest to current interns as well as prospective applicants, new graduates, validators, assessors, and anyone interested in learning about CBA.
