2025 Practitioner Survey
All practitioners are encouraged to have their say on topics such as engagement, EngGeoMB Guidelines and Practice Notes, competency-based assessment, equity and representation, and more in this year's Practitioner Survey which is now available online until July 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The survey is anonymous and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Revisions to the Academic Assessment Program and Manual of Admissions Coming July 1, 2025
Council has approved revisions to the Manual of Admissions, which will come into effect on July 1, 2025. The changes are a result of the Association's work over the past year and half to review the academic assessment program for engineering and geoscience intern enrollment. The changes align with other Canadian regulators and provide more options for confirming academic eligibility. For more information, please see the full news story.

Notice Under the Engineering and Geoscientific Professions Act
This Notice is provided in accordance with Section 36.2(1) of The Engineering and Geoscientific Professions Act. This is Notice that on April 24, 2025, Kevin Steckley was formally cautioned by the Association's Investigation Committee. The Formal Caution relates to Mr. Steckley's submission of a report, sealed on July 21, 2022, regarding a building addition for a First Nations community in southwestern Manitoba. International Women in Engineering Day, brought to you by Women's Engineering Society (WES), will celebrate its 12th year on Monday, June 23, 2025. This year, INWED's theme is #TogetherWeEngineer, and will be once again promoting the amazing work that women engineers across the globe are doing. 2025 Making Links Engineering Classic (MLEC)
On Thursday, June 19, the 2025 MLEC golf tournament was held at Quarry Oaks in Steinback, Manitoba. In partnership with the Indigenous Chapter, join us for a half-day session focused on foundational cultural awareness, exploring Indigenous worldviews, ways of life, medicines, traditions, and ceremonies. All My Relations by Brian Mcleod of Strong Heart Consultation offers guidance on how to respectfully engage in traditional practices and build meaningful relationships within Indigenous cultural spaces.
