Draft By-law Proposals After engagement with membership, through open
engagement sessions and third-party focus groups, and review by the By-law
Review Committee, legal counsel for the Association has drafted the following
by-law changes, and requests feedback from the membership. The draft wording can

Competitive
Parental Leave Policies: How Do Manitoba Engineering Consulting Firms Measure
Up? The Technical Women in Consulting Engineering have conducted an
anonymous poll of eight Manitoba engineering firms' parental leave top-up
policies. They will present their findings on

along with the business case for competitive leave policies, as well as
facilitate a panel discussion of engineers who are leading on this issue. Lunch
will be provided. Attendees are welcome to stay for networking following the

discussion featuring past members from the original Committee for Increasing the
