Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Family Legacy Bursary Draw
EngGeoMB is now accepting applications for the 2026 Family Legacy Bursary Draw. Five bursary prizes are given to the children of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members. Applicants must be Canadian residents and must be enrolled full-time in the first year of an engineering or geoscience program at a CEAB accredited Canadian university or college. The application deadline is September 1, 2026. For eligibility criteria and how to apply, please see the application form.

Indigenous History Month: Screening of Building Bridges & Panel Discussion / Fireside Chat
Please join us as we celebrate Indigenous History Month at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature a screening of the documentary Building Bridges: Decolonizing Engineering at the University of Manitoba, a discussion with those involved from the project, and a cocktail reception with Indigenous themed menu following. EngGeoMB Learning Modules
Did you know that you can access eight free professional development learning modules through your online member profile? Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba has created modules on topics such as Code of Ethics, Using ProDev, Conflicts of Interest, and much more! Completion of these modules counts towards your ProDev hours by accessing your online member profile.

Engineering and Geoscience Education Foundation (EGEF) Annual General Meeting
The Engineering and Geoscience Education Foundation (EGEF) Annual General Meeting will be held on June 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the EngGeoMB Office at 870 Pembina Highway. All individuals who have donated to the EGEF within the past year are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. To register, please see the EGEF website.

The Investigation Committee
The Investigation Committee reviews complaints regarding member conduct, recommends disciplinary actions when appropriate, and provides guidance on standards of professional practice and conduct. The committee is currently seeking a professional engineer (P.Eng.) with experience in structural engineering to join its membership. For more information, please read the full volunteer call.

In celebration of INWED 2026, join Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba for a panel discussion featuring past members from the original Committee for Increasing the Participation of Women in Engineering (CIPWIE). Featured panelists are Lindsay Melvin, P.Eng., Andrea Watts, P.Eng., Nusraat Masood, EIT, and Neemee Batstone, P.Eng.
