First Time Applicants

  • Official Transcript(s),
    Request the Canadian university to issue an official transcript(s) directly to the Association to the attention of the Registration Coordinator. All transcripts MUST be mailed to the Association directly in a sealed envelope. Student-issued transcripts are not acceptable.

    To avoid having to order transcripts twice, order transcripts after your convocation date. Note: Official transcripts must state:
    • All courses
    • Final grade in each course
    • Degree awarded
    • Date degree was obtained

  • A PDF of your detailed chronological resume, only.

Complete the Application Form

You may submit your Application for Admission to the pre-registration program prior to writing the ABC Test, however, your application will not be processed until you pass the test.

You must submit your application at least two weeks prior to the next Registration Committee meeting to be considered at that meeting. See Events for Registration Committee meeting dates.

Next Step

Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will process your application and send you a decision letter within a month. If applicable, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will advise you that you have been admitted as an Intern and may begin the pre-registration program. You will report work experience using progress reports before proceeding to full registration. You will also submit records of volunteer service and professional development.

If you are not admitted, your decision letter will provide reasons why and advice on how to become eligible for the program. You may appeal the decision. See Appeals for details.
