REGISTRATION

National Professional Practice Exam

The National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) is based on professionalism, law, and ethics. You must pass this exam to be eligible for registration as a P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Canada.

To be eligible to write the NPPE you must belong to one of these categories of registration:

  • Intern (EIT/GIT)
  • Specified Scope of Practice Applicant
  • US Temporary Licensee

Registration

To register for this exam, login to your online profile and if you qualify to take it a link will be provided on your homepage.

Dates

Write dates and registration deadlines can be found on the exam registration page in your online profile, or the Events Calendar

Exam Results

Your result will be a "PASS" or "FAIL" on the attempt, and will be available within four weeks after writing the exam. To view your results, please log in to your online profile.

Fees

All applicants pay a standard National Exam fee.
