ABOUT

Northern Manitoba Chapter

Chapter membership may include practising professional engineers and geoscientists, interns enrolled with the Association, and lay members as identified in the by-laws of the Chapter.

Chapter Boundaries

Members of the Northern Manitoba Chapter live and/or work north of the 53rd parallel in Manitoba, but do not include Flin Flon, Cranberry Portage and The Pas. For purposes of membership, the boundaries of the Northern Manitoba Chapter generally coincide with the areas included in postal codes R0B and R8N.

Executive Committee

The Chapter has an executive committee comprising a Chair, a Vice-Chair, a Secretary/Treasurer, and two members-at-large.

History

The Thompson Chapter was formally constituted on September 30, 1993.
The Chapter was renamed the Northern Manitoba Chapter in May 2018.
